Proper Hair Care

Why Proper Care Matters

Raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair, meaning it behaves just like your natural hair. With proper care, your bundles can last 2–5+ years while maintaining their softness, luster, and fullness.

Washing Your Bundles

Wash hair 1–2 times per week (or as needed) Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo Always wash in a downward motion (no scrubbing or bunching) Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water Pro Tip: Treat your bundles like silk — gentle handling keeps them luxurious.

Conditioning & Moisture

Use a rich, hydrating conditioner after every wash Let conditioner sit for 10–30 minutes for deep hydration Apply a leave-in conditioner or light serum to lock in moisture Deep Condition Weekly to maintain softness and prevent dryness.

Detangling

Detangle hair while damp, not dry Use a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush Always start from the ends and work your way up For curly/wavy textures: Finger detangling is best to maintain pattern.

Drying

Air drying is highly recommended If blow drying, use a low heat setting + heat protectant Avoid excessive heat to preserve the hair’s natural integrity

Styling Tips

Limit heat styling to prevent dryness Always use a heat protectant before flat irons or curling tools For curls, use lightweight mousse or curl cream (avoid heavy products)

Night Care Routine

Wrap hair with a silk or satin scarf/bonnet Or sleep on a silk pillowcase For longer bundles, consider loosely braiding or twisting before bed

Product Buildup & Maintenance

Avoid heavy oils and greasy products Clarify hair once a month if needed to remove buildup Keep hair lightweight to maintain movement and bounce

Storage (When Not Installed)

Store bundles in a cool, dry place Keep them in original packaging or a satin bag Ensure hair is clean and completely dry before storing

Longevity Expectations

With proper care, your raw hair will: Maintain its natural texture after washing Last multiple installs Improve over time with consistent moisture care
