BBJ LUX — which stands for Beauty by Janelle Luxury — is more than just a brand to me… it’s something I’ve built, evolved, and truly believe in.
I originally started BBJ LUX on January 31, 2023 as a clothing brand. But as I grew, my vision changed. I wanted to create something that felt more aligned with beauty, confidence, and quality — something I could stand behind 100%.
In July 2025, I rebranded BBJ LUX into a raw hair company. At first, I only offered my hair to my personal clients. I wanted to make sure everything met my standards before ever putting it out to the public.
I would never sell anything I haven’t personally tested myself. I’ve worn this hair multiple times — four installs in total — and it still looks as good as new. I’ve bleached it, styled it, and put it through real wear… and it still holds up beautifully.
I’ve taken the time to connect directly with my vendors through video calls, making sure I know exactly where my hair is coming from and how it’s sourced. Quality and transparency matter to me.
Now, as of March 21, 2026, I’m finally opening BBJ LUX to everyone. What started as something exclusive is now available to you.
